Virtual Birth Doula Support

$900

Everything the in person birth doula package includes, but virtually!

Prenatal and postpartum appointments will be held via Zoom, and we will accomplish everything as mentioned for the in person package. Prenatal education will be delivered via phone, FaceTime, or Zoom, and we will make sure you and your partner feel totally confident heading into labor on your own, with us a phone call away!

Think of us as the doula in your pocket.

As your labor begins, we will provide on demand support via text, FaceTime, or phone call. We will be there to reassure you what you are experiencing is normal, or advise if we sense it isn’t. We will coach you and your partner to use various labor positions that we have practiced in our prenatal sessions, provide tips to encourage labor progress, give you ideas for comfort measures and pain relief, and provide verbal encouragement the whole way!

Since we will be listening or watching your labor via phone, we will be able to hear your care provider discussing what is going on, and help advocate for you to help you reach your birth goals. If medical decisions need to be made, we are able to help translate what is being said into terms you fully understand so that you can make informed choices.

If distance, hospital visitor limits, or personal preference keeps you from hiring us as your in person birth doula, this virtual doula package is perfect for you!

“Amanda is incredible! I found her very last minute and she worked with me trying to get to know me and my family. She asked amazing questions and provided great resources for me to help myself prep for birth. I called Amanda when I was finding contractions too difficult. Once she arrived she spoke softly and was trying to feel out what I needed. She offered suggestions and reminded me to drink water or eat before things got super intense. While my husband attended to our toddler, Amanda was right there doing hip squeezes. She suggested different positions to labor in and once I told her I was struggling, she saw where I was initially tensing up and gave suggestions on how to relax during the contractions which was HUGE! I felt like she was the right amount of hands on for me specifically. She wasn’t overbearing or interrupting my focus, but attentive to me the whole time. She was extremely encouraging and I was able to tune into her voice during the harder contractions and found her to be extremely encouraging. I don’t think my birth would’ve gone the way it did without Amanda’s support and help. If I give birth again, Amanda is going to be my go-to doula.”

  • “If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it.”
